Eggs in Purgatory
Ingredients: serves 3
1 jar The Original Jersey Italian Gravy
6 eggs
3 slices prosciutto
Grated parmesan, to garnish
Fresh basil, to garnish
Freshly cracked black pepper, to garnish
Toasted sourdough, to serve
Put it all together!
1. Pour the Jersey Italian Gravy into a skillet over medium heat.
2. Once the sauce begins to simmer, reduce the heat to medium-low and crack the eggs into the sauce, then tear the prosciutto and place all over the eggs/sauce.
3. Cover and let simmer for 7-10 minutes or until the eggs are cooked to desired doneness.
4. Garnish with fresh parmesan, basil, and black pepper. Serve with toasted bread and enjoy!
