All their sauces are great. I still prefer to make my own from scratch but I still maintain two cases of the Jersey sauces on hand when I am too lazy to spend hours in the kitchen.
I do not use this sauce straight out of the bottle. Instead, I make my grandma’s (Fairlawn, NJ) traditional Sunday gravy with meatballs and add this as a secret ingredient to help stretch the leftovers. 50% Classic Jersey Italian Gravy, 50% Grandmas. I can’t believe I’m saying this, but the 50/50 mix is actually a teensy bit better than Grandma’s sauce. Don’t tell grandma!
